Why professional meter & distribution systems are crucial

Meter and distribution cabinets are far more than just a technical obligation - they are the central nervous system of your building technology.
We ensure that your power distribution is clearly organised, expandable, efficient and installed in accordance with standards - whether in a detached house, multi-party property or commercial building.

Our solutions fulfil all current VDE and TAB specifications and at the same time enable the seamless integration of modern smart home systems such as KNX, Gira, Busch-Jaeger & Co.

  • Integration of smart meter gateways
  • Including registration with the grid operator

Subdistribution boards & powercircuitdistributors

  • Planning and installation for floors, commercial units, ancillary rooms
  • Fuse layout in accordance with DIN VDE 0100
  • Clear labelling and documentation

For new build, refurbishment & commercial projects

  • Centralised electrical distribution for entire buildings
  • Space-saving & expandable concepts
  • Preparation for e-mobility, PV system, storage and smart home

Integration in modern building technology & smart home

Our distribution systems enable the structured integration of:

  • KNX systems (e.g. sensors, actuators, logic modules)
  • Gira HomeServer, Loxone, Busch-free@home
  • IoT devices & IP-based control systems
  • Meter connection to energy management systems
  • Protection for wallbox, PV inverter, battery storage system

Intelligent distribution boards are the basis for sustainable, networked buildings.

Your advantages with electrical projects

  • VDE & TAB-compliant design with acceptance protocol
  • Compatible with grid operators, metering services and smart meter systems
  • Clear structure, labelled & documented
  • Customised planning incl. reserve capacity for later expansions
  • Can be integrated into smart home & energy optimisation concepts

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about metering systems & distribution systems

A meter cupboard should be replaced if:

  • it is more than 20 years old,
  • it no longer complies with the current TAB (Technical Connection Conditions) of the grid operator,
  • new consumers such as PV systems, heat pumps or wall boxes are to be connected,
  • smart meters or control technology are to be integrated.
  • The meter cupboard contains the house connection and the electricity meters - it is the interface to the energy supplier.
  • The distribution board (also known as "circuit distribution" or "sub-distribution") distributes the electricity to various circuits in the building (lighting, sockets, technology, etc.).

Both components must be safe, clearly laid out and standardised.

The Technical Connection Conditions (TAB ) regulate how meter points and house connections must be designed in order to be authorised by the grid operator. Only TAB-compliant systems may be connected to the public grid. We plan and install all meter panels in accordance with the current TAB of the responsible DSO.

Yes, we integrate KNX modules, actuators, sensors, gateways and control centres directly into the distribution board - neatly wired, labelled and space-optimised. This turns the electrical distribution board into the intelligent control centre of your building.

The costs depend on the design, number of meter panels, additional functions (e.g. smart meter, load management) and the structural conditions. A simple modernisation starts at around €1,500-2,500 - more complex systems (e.g. apartment buildings) are correspondingly higher.
We will provide you with a transparent planning & quotation.

  1. On-site appointment or plan check
  2. Planning of the new system incl. reserve fields
  3. Coordination with the grid operator
  4. Conversion incl. shutdown & recommissioning
  5. Documentation & acceptance
We ensure a smooth process with minimal power outages.

Yes, we plan metering systems with reserve capacities, load management preparation and suitable fuse modules so that wallboxes or charging points can be added at a later date without any problems - even if there are several residential units.
